Love to Love: How do we deal with different cultures in education?

Do you feel seen within your education? Would you like to have a say about inclusivity and discrimination at school? Come to this event: Love to Love.
How can we create more awareness in education about racism and discrimination? During this event we create a safe space for you to talk about diversity and inclusion at your education.

Because we discuss sensitive topics, safety comes first. That is why there are a maximum of 15 places available. So be quick!
On this evening we want to find out what students from different cultural backgrounds encounter and what steps can already be taken at school. The aim is to work with the study programs to see how we can use these steps to make HAN more inclusive and diverse.

This evening is organized by Young Impact Makers (YIM). YIM is a community of changemakers. We organize events to involve and inspire young people to make an impact. This event is organized by Merel, David, Sjaak & Terna. Terna will lead the event. She herself has a bicultural background: a Dutch mother and a Guinean father. Because she has experienced that there is little awareness about racism and discrimination in education, she thinks it is very important to change this. HAN recognizes this problem and would like to contribute to a solution. That is why HAN supports this evening. Will you join the YoungImpactmakers Community?

The event takes place in room 154A/154B at Laan van Scheut 10.
